I started skiing when I was about 14 or so. In the summer of '95 I started rollerblading and this prompted me to try out a pair of Bigfoot skis. After skiing on these for one weekend I went out and bought a pair of top-of-the-line ski boards (the generic term- Bigfoot is a brand) made by Klimax. They are about 2.5 feet long and have a lip on both the front and back ends (which makes skiing backwards much easier). The shorter skis are very easy to control, especially good for moguls and alpine terrain (my favorites!), plus they are a BLAST!!.

These are some pictures of me from a trip to Kirkwood March 30-31, 1996.

Here is me doing a couple 360's.. some guy I talked to on the lift said that since they call a 360 on full length skis a helicopter, then a 360 on ski boards should be called a beanie.. ha!

This is me jumpin' off The Wave..

This is me flyin' off The Wall.. WAHOO!!

Yup, that's me again.. this time at Vail in Colorado, March 6, 2000.
